In 2006 we bought a handwritten letter from farmer Mark Newman asking us if Heritage Foods would at any time think about marketing his pasture raised old-fashioned Berkshire pigs. We claimed Indeed and a romance grew that still continues nowadays, now by way of his son David who's got managed the genetic line of Berkshires which may be traced again
